This was the artist's first leather mask, created in the workshop of Newman. Capitano is a character of the Commedia Dell'Arte, known for his boastful nature and phallus of a nose! Don't be fooled, he is afraid of his own shadow and as a result, falls short on all his boasts. Majd wore this character as a pirate ship captain for Halloween 2013, pictured below.
